Attorneys Jerald R. Harper and Anne E. Wilkes, with Harper Law Firm Shreveport, legal counsel on behalf of over 100,000 Shreveport households overcharged for water and sewer services over the past decade, announced new developments in that litigation on Monday.
Caddo Parish District Court Judge Michael A. Pitman added legal interest to the amounts already ruled owed by the City of Shreveport, raising the amount of the judgment from approximately $9.6 million to approximately $11.3 million for water and sewer overcharges, a news release from the class action attorney’s office states.
Legal counsel is referring to the “Residential Sewer Class Action: Pernici et al v. City of Shreveport, case.
