More than 360 arrested in Perak drug bust

IPOH: Police have arrested 364 people, including a 14-year-old boy, during a two-day operation that netted about RM59,200 worth of drugs.
Perak police chief Comm Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the 364, which included locals and foreigners, were arrested at 16 locations throughout the state on April 5 and 6.
They were mostly arrested at ports (drug dens) near oil palm estates.
Among them are 353 men and 12 women, aged between 14 and 70, he said in a statement on Wednesday (April 7).
“From the total, 64 were arrested for distributing drugs, 106 for drug possessions, and the remaining 159 for drug abuse,” he said, adding that the Ops Sarang Khas Bersepadu also included officers from the Perak National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK). ....

364 people arrested for various drug-related offences in Perak

IPOH: Within a span of 48 hours, police arrested 364 individuals for various drug-related offences and seized drugs worth almost RM60,000 in an integrated operation dubbed “Ops Sarang Khas Bersepadu”, carried out throughout Perak, since Monday.
State police chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said all the suspects, aged between 14 and 70, were arrested following a raid by the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department, in collaboration with the Perak National Anti-Drug Agency. The operation began on Monday and ended at midnight last night.
“In the operation, 16 addicts’ haunts were raided and a total of 352 men and 12 women, including three foreigners, were detained. ....
