That sometimes sets americans against one another and instead make big goals and ive set forth some big goal, getting the economy to work for everyone, not just those at the top. Making sure we have the best Education System from preschool to college and making it affordable and so much else. If we set those goals and go together to try to achieve them, theres nothing in my opinion that america cant do. So thats why i hope that we will come together in this campaign. Obviously, im hoing to earn your vote, hoping to be b elected in november and i can promise you, i will work with every american. I want to be the president for all americans. cuts which are set to expire in 2025. you know, mika, this is actually, believe it or not, this is why i ran for congress in 1994. i talked about it. i talked about demographics with destiny. we had entitlement programs at some points were going to be maxed out and damage and harm our senior citizens, social security, medicare, people on medicaid. we re getting there. for americans who don t understand this, this isn t a republican or democratic issue. both sides are to blame. the national debt doubled under george h. w. bush from 5 to 10 trillion. almost doubled under barack obama from 10 to almost 20 trillion. getting even worse by the day under republican donald trump. as we continue down this path, everything that americans think of when it comes to government, whether, you know, whether it s education, whether it s
infrastructure, you name it, it s called nondefense discretionary spending. we ll be spending more in interest on the debt than everything else that we spend in government in that area in five years. it s getting worse. social security, medicare, medicaid, those programs are growing at such an extraordinary clip and now they are being burdened by record high spe spending. the pentagon buying weapons program that the pentagon doesn t even want. of course the trump tax cuts. it s just absolutely devastated this country s budget scenario. and what do we get for it? well if you look at the stock market, not much. we re about where we were a year ago when those tax cuts that were supposed to create
insurance coverage. that s highest we ve ever been in our country. zpl your time s aup. i want us to get 100% and keep costs down and quality up. you have two minutes. it is such a great question and maybe the question i get almost more than anything else. outside of defense. obamacare is a disaster. you know it. we all know it. it s going up at numbers that nobody s seen worldwide. nobody s ever seen numbers like this for health care. only gets worse. in 17, implodes by itself. their method of fixing it is to go back and ask congress for more and more money. we have almost $20 trillion in debt. obamacare will never work. it s very bad. very bad health insurance. far too expensive. and not only expensive for the person that has it, unbelievably expensive for our country. one of the biggest line items very shortly.
resources to afford health care, namely, people on medicaid. obviously, medicare, which is a single payer system. which takes care of our eilidh rly and does a great job doing it, by the way, aend then all of the people who were employeed. but people who were working, but didn t have the money to afford insurance and didn t have anybody, an employer, anybody else to help them. that was the slot that the obama care approach was to take. and like i say, 20 million people now have health insurance. so, if we just rip it up and throw it away, what donald s not telling you is we just turn it back to the insurance companies the way it used to be and that means the insurance companies get to do pretty much whatever they want, including saying look, sorry, you ve got die beat, you had cancer, your child hads asthma. you may not be able to have insurance because you can t afford it, so let s fix what s broken about it, but let s not throw it away and give it back to the insurance companies. tha
