The new JV brings together DEME Offshore’s marine engineering knowledge and decades of experience in the renewables sector, with the highly specialised marine construction technology of Penta-Ocean. The partners are currently in the process of establishing the Joint Venture company, whereby 51 percent of the shares will be owned by Penta-Ocean and 49 percent by DEME Offshore.

Construction work on the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link has started with a ground-breaking ceremony, at the site of the RTS Link Woodlands north station.
The RTS Link Woodlands North station will be constructed underground at a maximum depth of 28 metres with three stories. It has an underground link to the CIQ building. The two facilities together will be 10 times of the size of a typical mass rapid transit (MRT) station, a Land Transport Authority (LTA) statement said.
The RTS Link is a four kilometres rail shuttle service between Woodlands North station in Singapore and the Bukit Chagar station in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It will be able to carry 10,000 passengers each hour in either direction. It will take five minutes to travel between the two stations. ....

The Johor Baru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link’s station at Woodlands North and its connected Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) facility will be about 10 times the size of a typical Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station, Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) said yesterday. The information was released as Singapore's Transport Minister Ong Ye Kung officiated a ground-breaking ceremony that marked the start of the construction of the RTS Link at a project site situated along Admiralty Road West. ....
