Tribune welcomes Bruzewski as new reporter

Bay County native Troy Bruzewski recently joined the Huron Daily Tribune as a general assignment reporter.
Bruzewski, of Essexville, most recently ran a freelance media company with a primary focus on sports news until the coronavirus pandemic set in.
He previously worked for the Saginaw News, Journal Register Corp. and served as the assistant sports information director at Chicago State.
He said his interest in racing is what prompted him to enter the industry.
“I wanted to work in public relations for NASCAR,” Bruzewski said. “I met Johnny Benson, who was a NASCAR driver from Grand Rapids. He put me in touch with the public relations at Pennzoil, who got me in touch with the sports editor, Paul Neumeyer, at the Saginaw News.”
