Timaru moggy, Morzine, has brought home two live goldfish to owner Penny Clack and she would like to return at least one of them.
Moggy Morzine’s mysterious fishing expeditions have been catching live goldfish for her Timaru owner. When Penny Clack saw a little orange blob on her lawn recently she was surprised to discover it was a live goldfish which six-year-old Morzine had brought home and was still playing with. Morzine, with his offsider Whistler watching, are not known for their hunting prowess according to Clack. The first fish arrived as a “splodge” in her Highfield garden on July 15. A few days later another appeared, and it was obvious it was Morzine who was in charge, Clack said.
