The 86th Tulip Time in Pella returns this week after it was cancelled last year due to COVID-19. Steering Committee Chair Lori Lourens says the vast majority of festivities and traditional experiences return this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
For those looking to learn more about Pella and Dutch history, special QR code videos will be posted throughout the Historical Village, Central Park, and other downtown locations.
While the parade will not be back in full force, Lourens says there will be new pop-up entertainment experiences and stationary floats that visitors can enjoy instead.
The following groups will be performing and doing meet-and-greets throughout the three days of Tulip Time in four different locations: the Tulip Toren, the Vermeer Windmill, the Molengracht, and the South Picnic Table Lot.
