TALLAHASSEE – The 19th-ranked Florida State men’s tennis team travels to play its last two regular season matches this week when it plays No. 16 North Carolina at Chapel Hill Tennis Club at 4:00 p.m. Friday. The Seminoles play No. 13 Duke at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The Seminoles, who are 17-5 on the season and 8-2 in conference play, enter the final weekend third in the ACC standings.
Florida State is led by junior Antoine Cornut-Chauvinc, who is the No. 4 singles player in the nation. Cornut-Chauvinc enters this week’s match with a 14-3 record with nine of those wins coming against ranked opponents.
Joshua Dous-Karpenschif is one of five Seminoles with at least 10 wins this spring, posting a 13-2 record on the season, including a 7-0 record at No. 4 and a 3-0 record at No. 5. Dous-Karpenschif is currently on an 11-match unbeaten streak.
Youcef Rihane, ranked 115th nationally, is 12-5 and has beaten three nationally ranked players so far this year.
