In this context, police have recently arrested the brother of an MLA who violated the lockdown rules. While the police stopped him, he tried to threaten the police stating that he was the brother of Peddapalli MLA Dasari Manohar Reddy and he was going to attend a wedding. A High Court advocate G Vaman Rao and his wife were stabbed to death by assailants on Kalvacharla highway in Peddapalli district today afternoon. The bodies have been shifted to a government hospital for autopsy and a case being registered under section 302 IPC, said Peddapalli police. ....
