L.L.Bean bought and renovated the Main Street property in the late 1980s and will continue to keep its call center there through a long-term lease, according to its new owner.
The Freeport-based outdoor retailer says it also will close its Lewiston call center in addition to the job cuts affecting full- and part-time workers who will be let go by the end of the month.
