A Kendal man has admitted a benefit fiddle totalling around £30,000 after failing to disclose for several years that his physical mobility had improved.

Steven John Westworth admitted that he drove with excess alcohol on January 13 at Peat Bank in Kendal, where he lives. The 53-year-old admitted the offence at South Cumbria Magistrates Court. He had 94 94 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, and was banned for two years and fined £200.
