　　2008年4月，在青山区委组织部帮助下，“雷锋车队”成立包头市出租车行业第一个党支部。在党支部引领下，车队从100台车发展到200台车，有41名党员，而其中38名是在车队加入党组织的。
　　从一个超市小老板变成车队一员的姜永胜，如今是一名共产党员。46岁的他五年如一日坚持免费拉载老人，他说：“我想把爱心传递下去，让更多人知道雷锋车队十几年一直做着这样的好事情，影响着更多的人。”
　　在青山区幸福路街道阳光社区“雷锋车队”的办公场所内，悬挂着车队多年来获得的荣誉奖牌和公益活动照片。从集体献血、去养老院慰问、到大青山义务植树，加入车队11年并在车队入党的曹晓瑞几乎能讲出每一张照片背后的故事。
