Michael Dabkowski spent much of his free time volunteering or going to church. The retired engineer enjoyed summers on Lake Garrison, a quiet, lakefront seasonal community where he owned a cabin.
But that all ended in March when a man from his past a man who once looked up to him like a father allegedly flew from New Mexico and bludgeoned the 66-year-old to death in the laundry room of his East Greenwich Township home. ....
