Coinciding with the 150-year anniversary of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, a new exhibit, “The Myth of Normal: A Celebration of Authentic Expression,” recently opened at the MassArt Art Museum. The exhibit takes its title from Gabor Maté‘s synonymous book, which addresses how the cultural and social norms we take for granted impact.

Jason Jacques Gallery will present an upcoming exhibition in partnership with the Last Prisoner Project. Titled SMOKE, the exhibition centers on a 19th century smoking set made by the French jeweler Boucheron. The piece is a beautiful, somewhat rarefied, highly decorative, and yet functional art object with a complex history that is relevant to many of the issues encountered today attitudes towards the idea of "intoxication" as well a pervasive fear of, yet inexplicable attraction .
Interior designer Kelly Behun is responsible for the residential interiors at Robert A.M. Stern Architects new Upper East Side building 1228 Madison Avenue. To complement her work, Behun launched a shoppable Living Gallery concept that makes it easy to get that same look at home.
