The woman who was found dead at an Auckland home on Easter Monday has been named as Pauline Kay Hanna, also known as Pauline Kay Polkinghorne.
Police say they are continuing to examine the scene after the 63-year-old s sudden death at a Upland Rd, Remuera home.
They say they will give a further update when they can.
A post-mortem was carried out on Wednesday.
One local told the
New Zealand Herald they saw a car being towed away from the house on Wednesday night and there was a police presence overnight.

Police are continuing to make enquiries into the circumstances of a sudden death at a Remuera address on Monday 5 April.
Today, Police are in a position to release the name of the woman who was found deceased at the address.
She was Pauline Kay Hanna, also known as Pauline Kay Polkinghorne, aged 63, of Auckland.
The scene examination remains ongoing at the Upland Road address and this is expected to continue for some days.
Police will provide a further update once we are in a position to do so.

There were at least five police cars near the property on Monday afternoon. She said she had not seen or heard anything out of the ordinary and police had not come to speak with her at any stage. Another neighbour, who lives adjacent to the property, did not know what had happened and said police had been at the address “all day”. Police said on Thursday the scene examination remains ongoing. This is expected to continue for some days.
