showing off this morning. a whole bunch of local sports mascots on the basketball court and we ll check in with holly and dave coming up. and our big story this morning, weekend storms left behind a messy aftermath. storms ripped through new york, connecticut, new jersey, as well as pennsylvania and ohio. 7 deaths are being blamed on the storms. trees and power lines have left hundreds of thousands of people in the dark and meant subway and train delays. those in coastal areas saw some flash flooding. some residents had to be helped to and from their homes. down at the water front, if you re planning on coming out to see the view, well the view is coming to you. those folks used to it when the river level comes up. we ve had rains and misty. a dreary day today before we see some sunshine. we ll have more periods of rain. showers for the most part but a couple of hours of rain to the north and east. the flooding concern will stay with us through the day. a coasta ....
