With universities taking the online exam route, and the government's decision to shut all the schools, amid Covid-19 surge, students in remote villages including Mawhrei village and Siaha district in Mizoram have been forced to take their online classes on a hilltop inside a forest area due to poor network connectivity in their locality.
Lack of internet connectivity has been a long-standing challenge for the residents of Mawhrei village. With universities taking the online exam route, students had to come up with a novel solution to the problem.
