but we begin with mark meredith. he has the latest from the white house. mark? jon, the white house says more help is on the way to small businesses now struggling to survive. as you mentioned, we saw the images from friday as president trump signed into law the stimulus bill passed this week to replenish funds for the paycheck protection program. this was considered an emergency measure after the original funds were depleted very quickly. the bill is broken down a little bit more than just the paycheck protection program, offering 310 billion for that as well as 60 billion for disaster loans, 75 billion for hospitals and 25 billion for testing. white house officials say they are open to pouring more money in if needed. i think that given the popularity of the program, both with the american people, and with everybody on the hill, that if we run out of money in that program, i would expect it would be relatively easy to get more money into it. meantime, up on capitol hi
