The $9.4 million city hall attached to the Olmsted County Government Center opened two months ago. The dedication program will be emceed by Mayor Chuck Canfield. After remarks and ribbon-cutting, people can go on self-guided tours of the building. 1971 – 50 years ago Kahler Corp. of Rochester plans to change the name of its nine motels. According to President Roy Watson, the motels, now operated under the Inn Towne name, will carry the Kahler name in the future. The Emmy nominations for outstanding television variety series include “The Carol Burnett Show,” “The Flip Wilson Show,” and “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In.” (“The Flip Wilson Show” was the winner). ....
