Members of the Fargo Downtown Neighborhood Association Board of Directors write, "He rails against people who have been marginalized and stereotyped their whole lives and states, 'We should just get rid of them' rather than support resources that assist in making their lives better. He rails against benches on downtown sidewalks because sometimes the wrong people sit on them."
Fargo City Commissioner Denise Kolpack reconsidered her vote to not include the right turn lane for reconstruction along 32nd Avenue. The turn would provide an extra lane for west-bound traffic turning north at the busy intersection with 25th Street. Those in favor of eliminating the turn lane said it would make the area more pedestrian friendly.
