The charity, Roundabout, collects household furniture and other domestic items. The items are distributed to families and individuals on low incomes and are in financial need or who have experienced devastation, such as by flooding or a fire. The charity temporarily closed down on January 5 in line with Government guidelines, but behind the scenes Roundabout CEO Peter Andrews and two colleagues have continued with supplying essentially free furniture items to individuals and families in financial need through their referral process utilised by housing officers, and health professionals.
