(Seguin) Local, state, and federal offices will all be closed on Friday recognition of the New Year’s holiday. Seguin Public Information Officer Jennifer Sourdellia says all city offices will be closed in observance of the holiday, and it will also cause a disruption in the city’s regular garbage collection schedule.
“City offices will be closed on Friday, January 1 for New Year’s Day. We will not have garbage collection that day, neither will we have recycle or brush collection. If you have Friday garbage collection, that’s going to be moved over to Saturday. So it’s going to be delayed by one day,” said Sourdellia. ....
