Lou Conter was one of 335 sailors and Marines to survive the attack, and was the last living survivor. Some 2,341 service members died on Dec. 7, 1941.
The PBY Catalina, formerly housed at the National Naval Aviation Museum, will be loaned to the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. This PBY will honor Catalina crew members who flew out of Pearl Harbor during WWII.
