In its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2011, the University of New Mexico women’s soccer team will face Navy (4-4-2) in the first round, tabbed to take place April 27 at 4 p.m. MT at the Gillette Soccer Complex in Wilson, North Carolina. The entire NCAA Tournament will be held in the state of North Carolina. The Lobos most recently won the Mountain West Regular Season Championship, advancing New Mexico to the Big Dance. The Lobos (10-1-0, MW 10-1-0) defeated the San Diego State Aztecs 3-2 in overtime at the UNM Soccer Complex for the Title, with junior Jadyn Edwards scoring the golden goal in the 96th minute.
