Brian and Catherine Russell have been separated since August 13, when Brian was admitted to hospital.
He was placed in isolation on January 5, when he arrived at the Inspirations Care Home in Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
All of the residents at the care home have received the Covid-19 vaccine and all staff have been offered the medication.
The couple were finally reunited earlier this week in heartwarming scenes ahead of their 66th wedding anniversary next month.
