Cape Cod 5 grants $27,500 toward accessible COVID-19 testing BP FILE PHOTO HYANNIS – Cape Cod 5 recently announced grants totaling $27,500 from its foundation to support Cape Cod Healthcare and Outer Cape Health Services in their COVID-19 testing strategies. The funds will help underwrite the cost of providing tests to local residents across the Cape who are otherwise unable to afford them. This is the latest philanthropic support being provided by Cape Cod 5 to aid in pandemic response, relief and assistance efforts. “Cape Cod 5 recognizes the extraordinary impact that the pandemic has had on our region and we believe that availability of testing is critically important,” said Dorothy A. Savarese, chair and CEO of Cape Cod 5. “We are proud to support our local healthcare providers who are working hard to make testing equally accessible to all members of our community as we all collectively work to mitigate the spread and continued impact of the virus.” ....
