Archer City ISD dedicated the flagpole at its baseball complex to its late title-winning baseball coach, Pat Maxwell, prior to the Wildcats game against Olney on Friday, April 12. Maxwell coached at Archer City from 2002 to 2012 and claimed the school’s first baseball title with a 6-2 win over New Deal in the Class A title game in 2007.
