Reporter we are hearing the suspect will not surrender , Authorities Say they are exchanging gunfire, over the last several hours, and, gunshots, two hours ago, it has been quiet since then but authorities, they hope this comes to a peaceful resolution as they say this suspect will not surrender. Swat teams and Police Rushed to a subdivision in middletown , following reports that the suspect who allegedly shot a state trooper is inside of his home. Along the road here, police tell me, this could have ended in a real tragedy. It sits directly be 19 the 12th Police District and engine 40 headquarters at 65th and woodland. A little known underground city garage used by police, firefighters and city employees. Sometime early wednesday morning, it was the target of an arsonist. It was alarming because this person could have caused significant tragedy here. Reporter investigators tell fox 29 a flammable liquid was poured on four city vehicles, three cars belonging to firefighters and two belonging to officers at the the 12th. Then someone tried to ignite them. Reporter neighbors say they are rock to the core to hear that a 38 yearold mother and her six yearold son were murdered in their home, each stabbed multiple times they were found around 9 00 last night when Authorities Say that the husband and father came home from work. Another neighbor who didnt want to show her face cant get fathers distraught scene out of her head. All he kept saying blood every where, blood every where , shes dead, shes dead. It was so sad to see him so distraught. Reporter especially because last time this neighbor saw the father he was with his young son, coating on the six yearold this were close. Him and his son.
