Correspondent MEMORIES Pat Ambler, longest serving Jefferson County 4-H adviser, was honored for her work with 4-H clubs and their programs. She was pinned with a corsage at an awards banquet several years ago by Julie Packer, who was the Jefferson County junior fair queen at the time and is now an adviser with the Windy Ridge 4-H Club and has a daughter in the club. Esther McCoy Four-H clubs in Jefferson County will be celebrating 100 years of service next year, according to the historical booklet compiled by Janine Yeske and other Extension members, plus history taken from other publications.
