Winning two matches in a row on Friday and Saturday, the Bears have risen in the national and conference rankings, allowing them to be well-positioned as postseason play rapidly approaches.
This weekend, Cal traveled to Utah and Colorado to begin Pac-12 play. Going 1-1, the Bears played two impressive matches to improve their overall season record to 4-5.

As Shelton was battling it out in Melbourne, college teams across the country, including No. 11 Cal, participated in the ITA Kickoff Weekend, vying for a spot at the Indoor Nationals in Seattle. While the Bears beat Princeton 4-1 on Friday, San Diego got the better of Cal on Saturday, also with a 4-1 win.
