Theodore Decker: The city s plan for snow removal is guaranteed to keep us on ice Theodore Decker, The Columbus Dispatch © Barbara J. Perenic/Columbus Dispatch Motorists navigate a snow-covered portion of Alum Creek Drive on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, after another 2 to 4 inches of snow plus a layer of ice fell on Columbus, Ohio, overnight. We had been lulled into complacency, tricked by the always fickle Mother Nature. We had let our guard down. We had forgotten. Theodore Decker: Columbus snow removal plan underwhelms when winter strikes

Whenever I have turned a critical eye to the subject of snow removal, certain quarters insist that I am maligning the bleary-eyed drivers who are tasked with keeping the roads open while dodging cars driven by people who don t need to be out.
