Two militants opened fire at constable Manzoor Ahmad and injured him as he was trying to protect the PDP leader, the Hindustan Times reported. The constable was admitted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar, where he succumbed to his injuries, the police said. ....
Natipora Update: PSO of PDP leader succumbs Srinagar: The PSO of PDP leader succumbed to his injury here in hospital after Unknown gunmen on Monday morning fired upon him in Natipora area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district. A senior Police officer told that militants fired upon the PSO of PDP leader Haji Parvaiz Ahmad in Natipora, leaving him critically injured.
