Once Colten finally got Billy involved, the tides turned. After blocking an attempt from Drake to hit a Rude Awakening, Billy would lay his opponent out with the Fameasser for the 1-2-3. ); ); A particularly short match, with Ford taking very little offence from Rossi. When Rossi did start to gain some momentum, she was cut off by a huge boot from Ford. Ford would then swiftly pick up the win with a Gutbuster. ....
Gunn Club (Billy and Colten) defeated Ryan Nemeth & JD Drake (w/ The Wingmen) Colten showed potential with some babyface fire during the match. The Wingmen remain one of the most funny and fascinating factions in this promotion for some weird reason. Gunn Club won with the famouser from the one and only Billy Gunn to end this quick, three minute match. Fun fact: Colten remains undefeated in AEW so far. Penelope Ford defeated Valentina Rossi This was another short match. Just when Rossi was starting to gain momentum in her favor, Ford was able to cut it short and use a gutbuster to win this match running her record this year to 7-1. ....
