The day the berlin wall came down. Those who poured across made history, others watched and wept. Europe whole and free, proclaimed the United States. Some observers heralded the end of history, a conclusive victory for western liberal democracy. But three decades on, is europe still celebrating . That is the question we will consider, but before we do that, thomas started off by giving your recollection of that day, because you were already halfway through your adult life, and indeed, the wall had been there for all of your life up until that point. From the bbc sport centre. Good afternoon. There was a flashback to the summer, as englands cricketers needed a super over to beat new zealand in their fifth and final t20 international. They were tied after ii overs each in auckland, the match shortened because of the weather. So, just like the World Cup Final between the same two sides, they went to a super over. But the conservatives are keen to suggest it would spend too much, recklessly so. Theyve calculated what they are calling the cost of corbyn £1. 2 trillion. Speaking to andrew marr, the chancellor of the exchequer defended how the party had done its maths. Every single costing in this dossier, that we have published today, has either come from labours own figures, most of them actually, most of them actually, over 50 of the costings are from labou
