Melburnians are being encouraged to document and share how their lives changed at home and in their local communities during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic for a digital display that will capture and reflect on stories of resilience, community and ingenuity in 2020.
Museum in my Neighbourhood – a partnership between the Office for Suburban Development and Museums Victoria – is calling on people across greater Melbourne to share local stories of people maintaining social connection despite the significant changes to daily life experienced during the pandemic.
This digital initiative will collate stories and objects such as paintings and photographs, illustrating how people adapted to spending more time at home, in their local communities. ....
