Parliamentary Research & Information Support for State Assemblies on the cards

SHILLONG: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has said that is keen to set up the information technology-based modern research wing Parliamentary Research & Information Support (PRISM) in the Legislative Assemblies to provide 24x7 support to the members in the States.
PRISM was launched in the Budget session of the Parliament to provide information to the MPs round the clock.
The Speaker said, We are trying to compile the proceedings and debates of the Parliament as well as the State Legislative Assemblies on a single platform through NeVA (National e-Vidhan Application), said Birla said while addressing the Members of the Meghalaya Assembly on his maiden visit to the hill State. ....
