Congress workers and leaders are protesting against price rise, hike in GST on essential items and unemployment. The party is also protesting against the alleged misuse of central probe agencies by the BJP-led government to target its leaders.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi led party MPs’ protest against inflation and unemployment on Friday. As a part of this protest, the MPs marched from the Parliament to the Rashtrapati Bhavan
Congress MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, P Chidambaram and Jairam Ramesh, were detained at Vijay Chowk here while they were staging a protest march to President House against inflation.
