PARKSVILLE - More than 100,000 people are expected to view this year's creations as the annual Parksville Beach Festival gets underway at Parksville's.
Sand sculptors from around the world converge on Parksville this weekend. On Thursday, they were on the beach for the "pound up," creating the foundations for their sculptures.
The Lounge 99.9 features Adult Standards music from the last 50 years featuring the classics like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Barbra Streisand and today's adult stars such as Diana Krall, Michael Buble and Rod Stewart. The Lounge is custom built for the large and affluent "50-plus" population in Oceanside. The Lounge also features local news and community information and can be seen reporting from all of the big events around Oceanside.
