FLORENCE â Arts Alive, downtown Florenceâs visual arts festival is taking place in Wilson Park and at Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts on the weekend of May 15 and 16. The festival will be open on Saturday from 9 am-5 pm, and on Sunday from 10am-5pm. Approximately 80 artists, working in painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, mixed media, metal, clay, jewelry, and photography will sell their artwork in booths in Wilson Park; the Arts Alive Gallery Exhibition at Kennedy-Douglass will showcase artwork from approximately 62 artists from May 15-June 18.   Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts invites the public to attend Arts Alive Opening Night on Friday, May 14 from 6:30-9:30pm for the Arts Alive Gallery Exhibit preview and open-air party at the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts in downtown Florence. The ticketed event will raise funds for arts ....
