9 & 10 News May 4, 2021 Parkdale Auto Sales and Services in Manistee is helping make a difference for area kids. In light of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, they chose the Manistee County Child’s Advocacy Center as this month’s recipients. A total of $5,100 was donated to the Advocacy Center between a raffle and $100 for every car sold. Megan McCarthy, Executive Director of the Advocacy Center, tells 9&10 News that it was great to see the community putting effort to help kids in need. “It was exciting for our entire team to see this donation kind of build and build over the course of this month and just to really see the different ways business and individuals are standing up for kids during this time of crisis,” said McCarthy. ....
