Prosecutors want probation revoked for man acquitted in Hoover veteran Mike Gilotti’s 2016 death Updated Mar 15, 2021; Posted Mar 15, 2021 The City of Hoover on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, unveiled two new signs honoring the memory of Mike Gilotti, who was shot to death in his Lake Cyrus community on Jan. 5, 2016. In May, according to city officials, the state legislature passed a resolution and Gov. Kay Ivey signed that resolution allowing for the Alabama Highway 150 bridge to be named after Gilotti.
