Dan Whelan Bolton-based real estate investor Park Equity Invest wants to create a 74-apartment scheme on the site of the Wilson Patten Street office building. Arpley House would be demolished to make way for the four-storey development but part of the existing door surround would be retained and displayed in the communal residents’ garden, according to architect Falconer Chester Hall. The new development would make “more efficient use of the footprint” and incorporates basement car parking spaces, ground floor cycle storage and residents’ lobby, the architect added. PLANS have been drawn up to demolish a characterful building in the town centre and replace it with apartments. Proposals seek permission to level Arpley House on Wilson Patten Street to clear the way for the four-storey development.
