The Park City post of the American Legion plans to mark Memorial Day with an event on Main Street a year after the traditional graveside ceremony was canceled in the early months of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Department told of a rental unit flood, water main breaks
The Park City Police Department over the course of several hours on Saturday, Jan. 2 received at least two reports of waterworks issues and another case at a private residence.
The first report was logged at 4:08 a.m. on Stonebridge Circle, where someone indicated a floor of a rental unit was flooded. The police were told there was a leak, a pipe had burst and the person could not get into a garage.
Later, at 6:41 a.m., a water main break was reported on Pinnacle Drive followed by another break of a water main at 7:06 a.m. on the same street.

Members of the Park City American Legion chapter laid wreaths at the graves of veterans at the Park City Cemetery.
“Remember, Honor, Teach” is the motto of the national Wreaths Across America program. Although this is the first year the Park City Chapter of the American Legion and Blue Star Families has participated in the event, the chapter went all in and laid 146 holiday wreaths at the graves of veterans at the Park City Cemetery on December 19th.
