Public invited to visit prayer wall, Easter services announced
Hendersonville Presbyterian invites the public to visit its prayer wall. at the Grove Street entrance of the church, adjacent the sixth avenue parking area under the church portico.
Individuals are invited to write any prayer concerns or praises on a piece of paper and slide the request in a niche in the wall any day or time between March 27 and April 3. The papers do not require a signature. The requests will be collected to be remembered and blessed on Easter Sunday morning, April 4.
Two services will be held on Easter Sunday, April 4. Pastor Rob McClelland will deliver the sermon “Resurrection Day” based on Matthew 28: 1-10 at both services. An 8 a.m. Sunrise service will be held at Shelter #1 at Jackson Park on Glover Street with contemporary music led by Andrew Morris and Robert and Lisa Burns. She will play and sing “Forever” by Kari Jobe at both services.  ....
