오는 2023년부터 글로벌 최저법인세가 시행될 것으로 보인다.
1일(현지시각) 프랑스 파리 경제협력개발기구(OECD) 회의에서 세계 130개국은 다국적 기업들에 최저 15% 세율의 글로벌 최저법인세를 합의했다고 등 외신들이 보도했다.
경제협력개발기구는 글로벌 최저법인세가 내년에 만들어져서 2023년에 시행돼야만 한다고 강조했다. 재닛 옐런 미국 재무장관은 “오늘은 경제외교에서 역사적인 날이다”고 평가했다. 글로벌 최저법인세가 시행되면 다국적 기업 등으로부터 1500억달러(170조원)의 세수가 더 확보될 것으로 평가된다.
