The Army released the identity of a soldier who died Monday in a noncombat-related accident in Kuwait.
Staff Sgt. Anthony Bermudez, 28, was killed in an accident involving a non-tactical vehicle at approximately 8 a.m. during a routine troop movement near Camp Buehring, Kuwait, according to a news release from the Army s 1st Theater Sustainment Command at Fort Knox, Kentucky, which is responsible for providing logistical support to U.S. military forces in the Central Command region. ....

It s time for monumental americans. people who may be deserving of more recognition. today it s 22-year-old u.s. army specialist gabriel conde. he graduated from berthoud high school in colorado. he spent a year at colorado school of mines then felt called to join the military. he been assigned to u.s. army alaska since april 2016. he deployed to afghanistan in september of 2017. conde received the national defense service ribbon, the army service ribbon and the parachute badge. he was killed when he was hit by enemy small arms fire just a few weeks before the end of his deployment. his body was brought home to the ....
