The great composer and prophet Hannibal Lokumbe has been moved oratorio in tribute to a crucial event in our national history. Dr. Kim phuc, who is here today, was the young girl in vietnam in 1972 who was pictured running down the street after a napalm attack. That photograph so transfixed the world that it helped lead to an end to the vietnam war. And dr. Phuc has gone on to a distinguished career, advocating for children who are the victims of war and in recognition of her extraordinary achievements, she was honored earlier this year with the dresden peace prize, one of the most important in the world.
