A loosening of rules and waiving of fees for outdoor patios last summer didn’t just serve to rescue some local restaurants and bars battered by the pandemic.
Another very important benefit was the exciting buzz of patio culture, long desired in places like Windsor’s urban core, said Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association chairman Brian Yeomans. His organization intends to have a representative ask on Monday for a continuation for 2021 as city council debates a report on the success of this pandemic
