In a historic first for the city, Vallejo has filled its poet laureate position with not one, but two poets who will serve the community side-by-side. Co-poets laureate Jacalyn Yvonne and Kathleen Herrmann will begin their term Jan. 1, bringing the full power of their joint experience and artistic skill to the position.
