Ready, the week before thanksgiving, so that you will have them during the rush of the holidays, you will have extra time. The monday before . Hopefully the week before. Even the week before that . I see. I see what you are saying, that would be great right. And i had trouble trying to schedule a december meeting because our normal meeting date would be the 24th, the night of the 24th. So i am going to. I am going to give that one more go around but we may not be able to have a december meeting. The final thing is one of the requests for the future meetings at past meetings was that we do a discussion of the report that the budget analyst harvey rose did comparing us to la. We have decided that before we have that discussion, here at the commission, that we should have interested persons meetings with the public. And get some input from them. So we schedule two of them for december. And then we planned to bring that report before you for the january meeting. That is a good idea. To ans ....

Leads to full employment. That is what people are looking for. This is what rodrigo stands out in my mind amongst all the people that we had a chance to take a look at. He has been involved as a pro bono structural engineer. His firm is a Structural Engineering firm, but he has been a part of many of our local nonprofits to have their projects successful in the past 20 years. I know rodrigo is a stronger performer. He is an advocate on behalf of students and he is committed to our city college and it will not lose its accreditation with rodrigos help. [applause] for these reasons, i am presenting to you, rodrigo, as a great asset to our city college, and i want to thank him for stepping up and accepting this appointment at a time when we really need reform. Thank you to you, jenny, and the two kids for supporting you as well. It is most important than ever before that we do whatever it takes to get our city college back on ....

Were going to celebrate filipinoamerican History Month in San Francisco by doing what mayors always do, especially after being solely instructed by hydra as our Education Advisor to present the proclamation declaring the month of oct filipinoamerican month in San Francisco. Come on up here. Get up here, so everybody can take a picture here. If i may, i just wanted to Say Something as well. You know, there are many streets of our great, great city and everybody i think is now enjoying so many of the neighborhoods that are rising up. But there have been neighborhoods like desoma and the excelsior, critical names of streets that we named after filipinos who really served our city and country in a fabulous way. I wa ....

And picks people up. If the tax industry goes away, who serves the disabled community . Do you think uber will do that . I dont think so. How about people that dont have a smart phone . You are not allowed us to compete. The Cab Companies are not allowing us to compete. Uber is hiring drivers with the app. People are independent contractors but it should be able to use any app they want; we need a universal app engine need help us do this, help us get the tools to compete with these people. If you read the article yesterday, the comments, the public hates taxis, they hate the tv screens in back, they hate the mta, the puc, drivers refuse to take them to the sunset, refuse to take credit cards. Where is the enforcement . Why are you allowing companies to block our dispatch systems. We need the this is model because thats what they want. We have to have taxis, insurance, regulation. By the way, willie brown how many endorsements from ....

Welcome to culturewire. Today we are at recology. They are celebrate 20 years of one of the most incredibly unique Artist Residency programs. We are here to learn more from one of the resident artists. Welcome to the show, deborah. Tell us how this Program Began 20 years ago. The Program Began 20 years ago. Our founder was an environmentalist and an activist and an artist in the 1970s. She started these street sweeping campaigns in the city. She started with kids. They had an exhibition at city hall. City officials heard about her efforts and they invited her to this facility. We thought it would coincide with our efforts to get folks to recycle, it is a great educational tool. Since then, we have had 95 professional artists come through. How has the Program Changed
